People in Siberia.

I have already seen a bit of the world but Siberia is one of the most beautiful places on earth. A place that forces you to think, which every time shows something new, in which and for which lack of humility can bring unexpected results …

When writing about this piece of the distant world, we can not even forget about the people living there for a moment!

Beloved, these people are a treasure for this area, and nature repays them for it. It’s hard to believe, but most of the people we met there were very happy with their lives, the world around them, with all the positive and negative influences of the surroundings. The life of these people is not easy. Very cold winters, up to -60 degrees and hot summers, are not easy. All this is accompanied by strongly changing fauna and flora. Winter itself is a tough experience, you have to think about fuel for the entire period. Difficulties in moving force make it necessary to prepare for this difficult period by storing and storing enough food. The electricity is also different so everything depends on the availability of fuel. Its storage around the houses begins immediately after the end of winter and lasts until the beginning. Fuel is a product without which you can not survive …

People living in this part of the world must show a high resistance to everything that happens to them throughout the year.

It is important to have a certain distance to everything and be able to accept the state of affairs as it is. Such a life is very difficult to accept and many people struggle with various forms of addictions, eg alcohol. People try to find a moment of oblivion through this type of escape. There is very much poverty in the countryside. We drove through many abandoned villages and passed many farm animals by unchecked people who lived their lives far from farms.

Inhabitants try to keep everything in their grasp, often paying a very high price.

What is great about these people is their immediacy, honesty and the ability to express their thoughts and emotions in a very simple and understandable way. On the face of each person we met there is noticeable suffering, hardship and struggle for this, their spirit weather is expressed in a very gentle smile.

It is also amazing that the people of Siberia need so little for everyday life. They are not ashamed of it, they show it, they talk about it and wanting not to live like that.

I will mention here a small, but true story, when people asked by us about the only route leading from the city of X (west 600 km) to the city of Y (750 km to the east) did not know where it is … We were surprised.

I would like to mention here that these are people who live in a few dozen villages and live there for over 50/60 years. They never had a need to go to these cities, so they did not need such knowledge. It’s unbelievable but it is! The whole sight of Siberia and contact with people living there remains in my memory.

As a European, I want people who live in constant and unsuspected prosperity to somehow see the world as I saw it. It teaches humility, stops our “run” and shows what life can be the most important. Siberia is a world of people who, with extreme poverty, can share, help and enjoy the smallest things. Being in Siberia among the nature and people I write about gave me great joy. I once said that it is normal there, inter alia thanks to contact with “people of Siberia”.

I want this wonderful experience of learning about the Siberia community to always remain in my mind.
